Your personal data - what is it?

How do we process your personal data?

 

West London Accounting Ltd complies with its obligations under the GDPR by updating stored personal data, keeping it securely and destroying it; by not collecting or storing excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data against loss, unauthorized use, unauthorized access and disclosure, and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are taken to protect personal data.

 

Disclosure of your personal data

 

Your personal data will be kept strictly confidential and under no circumstances will it be passed on without your consent. All personal data we hold about you will be processed by our employees in the UK and Poland. No third parties will have access to your personal data without your consent, except where we are required to provide it by law. Please note that your personal data may be stored in a cloud computing system whose servers are located in the European Union.

 

How long do we keep your personal data?

 

Your personal data will be stored by us in a safe manner for a maximum of 5 years, after which the data will be safely destroyed unless their storage is no longer necessary for the legitimate purposes for which they were obtained.

In some, rare cases, it may be necessary to store your personal data for a longer period. In the event that you consent to receiving marketing materials from us, any information we use for this purpose will be stored by us until we receive a notification from you that you withdraw your consent to receive marketing information from us.

 

Your rights and your personal data

 

Except for the exceptions listed in the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • request a copy of your personal data held by West London Accounting Ltd about you

  • request that your personal data be corrected by West London Accounting Ltd if it turns out to be inaccurate or out of date

  • request the deletion of your personal data, if it is no longer necessary to store it by West London Accounting Ltd;

  • withdraw your consent at any time to the processing of personal data;

  • request that West London Accounting Ltd provide you with your personal data and, if possible, transfer this data directly to another data controller (right to data portability);

  • in the event of a dispute as to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, request for restriction of further processing;

  • objecting to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes;

  • lodge a complaint with the British Information Commissioner's Office (ICO);

  • access and correct your information;

  • you have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of all or part of your personal information, please contact us by email or in writing at the address provided in the "Contact Information" section of this Data Privacy Notice. In some cases, we may charge a small fee for this service.

 

We want to make sure your personal information is correct and up to date. You can ask us to correct or delete any information that you believe is not correct or up-to-date.

We would like to send you information about products and services of both our and other companies within our group that could be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing information, you may opt out of this option at a later time.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time to contact you for marketing purposes or to provide your information to other entities in our group. We use an automatic decision-making system to define segments and build appropriately profiled product offers for our customers based on their wishes and needs. Further processing

 

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose not specified in this Data Privacy Notice, then you will receive a notification from us explaining what this new use purpose is - before starting processing for the new purpose and indicating the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Whenever it is necessary and whenever it is required, we will ask for your prior consent to the processing of data for new purposes.
